GENERAL

In the WhatsApp community, you can view an overview of several WhatsApp groups related to the theme “Ireland.” The currently available groups are the internal groups of “The Ireland Project.”

TIP – General (🇺🇸) / TIP – Allgemein (🇩🇪). This is the space for your general questions, discussions, exchanges, ideas, and suggestions.

All groups starting with “TIP -” are internal groups managed by us. (Under certain conditions, external groups may also be added – more on that later.) For these groups, depending on whether you want to join, you can send a membership request.

IMPORTANT CODE OF CONDUCT

For the benefit of the community, the following rules apply to all groups: Please refrain from explicit, racist, offensive, unlawful, or similar topics. Do not request images and/or personal information. Everyone should feel safe in the groups. Don’t hesitate to inform an admin if someone doesn’t adhere to these rules. In case of appropriate misconduct, individuals may be immediately removed from the group and the community!

THE ANNOUNCEMENT GROUP

The QR code initially leads ONLY to joining the community, specifically the announcement group. (Or through the link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/BG19Bq5H659HVDx6zAkmo3 ) In this group, you can only receive messages (announcements), not send messages. Your phone numbers are particularly protected here. Please keep in mind that in other groups, your phone number, etc., will be visible to other members!

ADDITIONAL GROUPS INTERNAL / EXTERNAL

Additional groups can be added. Do you want to create a group? Do you have a group you’d like to add? Send us a brief message. However, we always reserve the right to reject groups, even without further explanation. Also, consider whether you truly want your group to be visible within the community. You can control access to your own group by allowing access only through the request function. You remain the admin of your group and manage the group’s activities. (In external groups, I will need to be temporarily added as an admin so that I can add the group to the community. Afterwards, regular rights can be reinstated. I will remain a participant in the group!)

The respective admin of the group may potentially be added as an admin to the announcement group to send announcements.
